Florida Supreme Court Has Limited Jurisdiction Over The Florida Bar

So writes Clerk of Court John A. Tomasino. This was in response to a letter from Louis F. Mlecka who has been monitoring the actions of The Florida Bar since November 2014

Mlecka said monitoring of The Florida Bar is beginning to pay off. However, more input is still required from people that feel their complaint was not properly reviewed and investigated.

According to a letter from Mr. Arne C. Vanstrum, Associate Director of Lawyer Regulation of The Florida Bar dated 21 October 2014 he advised me lawyer employees of the Florida Bar cannot be held to be in violation of "The Rules Regulating The Florida Bar". When I recently questioned him on this he has yet to respond. On 30 March, I wrote the Clerk of the Florida Supreme Court asking clarification of this matter. The Clerk responded on April 5 as follows. "If you have a complaint regarding the handling of an investigation by The Florida Bar, you may contact Adria E. Quintela, Director of Lawyer Regulation, The Florida Bar, 1300 Concord Terrace, Suite 130, Sunrise, Florida 33323”. This should be of interest to thousands of people that have submitted complaints to the Bar only to find their complaint closed without proper review or investigation.

I have found several Bar employees appear to have participated in an act of corruption. They will be asked to respond in the near future.
